Has anyone located rattle from drivers side dash?

While driving i hear a rattle coming from the drivers side dash. It almost sounds like a buzzing sound. has anyone been able to pin point the source of this anoying sound?

I have it sometimes too. Very annoying and as yet unable to locate it

me too...mine is sounded like some sort of electric charge. lately, it doesnt occured really often anymore.

I suspect the source is from the small air vent (not air conditioner) on upper dash of the driver side.

any opinion?

ummm...i don't have it (knock on wood) but there are a few discussions about this before. you might want to do a search on this .

There are millions of threads her eabout squeaks, rattles, knocks, clunks and buzzes. This one was pretty specific, so if there's a fix let us in on the secret

May sound a bit silly, but your flashlight/torch isn't off the charger is it?

i'm not keeping any secret but just can't remember who had this done by their dealers .

I have the dash rattle - although I think mine is more of a "creak". Hardly noticeable but it seems to occur only at low speed/rpms.

Try pressing on the top of the instrumental panel housing and holding it against the dash moulding. I think this is the probable cause of your noise. Mine does it and the only way I can think to cure it is to unscrew the instrument binnacle and put a strip of that felt tape along it then refix it.
