Friend of mine ordered carbonfiber tape and is going to tape his roof on his mercedes.. It's just the ordering from japan takes a while and little bit more..

Installing it yourself is a pia, if he is doing it himself I hope he does some research on it or has some experience.

My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.

Not yet but I did contact a wrapping company yeaterday and they will be calling back with a quote. They mentioned there were two methoods, carbon fiber and then the printed material. Still waiting to see what the cost will be. What is the average cost out there for something like this?

WOW only 150....... I just went and checked it out today. They told me 350 and did not budge on that. LAME.....

Vinyl wrapping is becoming more and more common. I like the look, especially for a cheap easy mod. I recently had the window trim, door handles and trunk finisher on my e63 de-chromed with matte vinyl. SOOOO much easier than painting.
