Default Has anyone bought a shop repair manual DVD off ebay

Seen a few e60 DVD shop repair manuals along with a whole disc for almost every car from late 80s to 2008 shop manual on one disc. Has anyone ever bought one of these? I need to swap my brake booster and BMW told me $1800 for it installed. Parts around $300. So I'll do it myself. Looking for a repair guide.

Thanks. It says for cars with S85 engines remove the vacuum pump. Do I need to remove that too?

Ok so basically I just have to remove the covers and take out the master cylinder and then the booster out of that tight ass spot.

I don't know where the vacuum pump on a S85 is but on the N62 its on the front right (passenger side) of the engine no where near the booster. One other thing you might have to remove is the dash kick panel/ knee bolster panel to get to the fasteners for the brake booster.

It doesn't for your car.
