Hardwiring a Radar Detector

I don't get it... If it's not next to the rear view mirror.... Where is it going to go???

it is on the dashboard. i dont put my detector near my rear view. i dont care what anybody thinks, putting it up there lessens the detectors ability to perform well.

From behind your car, look to see if you can spot the V1 better on the dashboard or by the rear view mirror.
It comes with a windshield mount. But it's your V1 .
