my hand brakes dont want to disengage. I usually just put it into first or reverse and start driving and it will squeal and release within 1-2 feet. brought it to the dealership to get it checked and they said its not covered?!??!?!?! i have extended maint. and warranty. isnt this a defect? my NEW SA says its just a maint. issue that isnt covered. any suggestions on what i should do in this case?

ps. i brought my car into to get the microfilter replaced and brakes checked and he wrote me up for the microfilter and changed the brake fluid. i just got the fluid replaced 4 months ago.
