Well today I had a fender bender with a little toyota and I was the driver who rear ended the other car. Anyway the other driver was ok and minor paint transfer on his car and some scratches on mine and a somewhat large bump area under the passenger side kidney grille. The only way u can notice it is if u run your finger from one side of the car to the other, but its not something that worries me. I wanna know what I can check in the front area of my car to make sure in impact didn't jar anything loose since my car felt a little off after.

Unfortunately the impact wasn't enough to have an excuse for an M-Tech bumper

go bump the car against a wall a few times, and then show it to insurance.

Know how you feel - good as new when you get it back.

Even minor accidents are annoying - at least no one got hurt. A BMW Certified Body Shop will be able to tell if any hidden panels and such are involved. Sometimes those are hidden from view and only found after a close inspection. Your "average" body shop may not have enough experience with BMW's to know where and what to look for.

the problem is you need to report the accident to the the local DMV, at least in California you do, if the damage is above $ 750 which will go on your vehicle record. It does hurt your pocket book if you're looking to resale it and the next buyer pulls a carfax on the vehicle. I suggest take some photos of the damage and keep it in file with the repair work order to prove that it was nothing serious.
