Hi poleposition:
Cute son! I know your a proud of him, and have a good reason to be! I remember when my daughter was that age, back then, now she just turned 18, and of course she wants a new BMW....but remember these days when their young they are nothing like these days when they are young and cute, and they grow up so fast! :'(
Your a good parent buying your child a new BMW! (I just wish my 18 year old daughter would settle for one of those! (LOL) Just kidding, but seriously of course she wants old dad to buy her the real thing. A 3 series, and new M3 I am thinking right, Dream on!!! if I can find her and nice preowned 3 series and can afford I will be doing good)

I gave my 19 yr. old son my old E36 325is. We drove it across the country so he could have it for college, with 158,000 miles on the odometer when we left.
I also brought him to the Drive for the Cure last year, where they had a special 1/2 day driving school for people 17-20.
Yup he's got the BMW bug now! Poleposition, your son will too!!
