H&R Sport Springs and Bilstein Sports, hitting bumpstops

4 Attachment(s)
I just installed H&R Sport Springs with Bilstein Sport Struts, now I keep hitting the bumpstops. Or the car is too low or the springs are too soft or both. Since the H&R Spring drop is 1.4-1.8 inch I was wondering if someone can recommend a spring that lowers the car a little less.

My car is even lower then the 991 with 10mm lowered Pasm suspension.

Your Bilstein Sports have internal bump stops, so there's no need to re-install the oem bump stops. I too have the Bilstein Sports but with Eibach Pro Kit springs; they're not as lowered as your ride (Eibachs lower ~0.9 to 1.3 inches I believe).

You are right, and I did not install any bumpstops, the bumpstops I am referring to are the internals of the Bilstein.

Good to hear that you like the Eibach, it is an option I am looking into. Is that pic of your front end with the Eibach?

Thanks

Yes it is. Something definitely looks wrong seeing how the boot is crumpled like it is. I don't recall seeing my boot doing that. Is that pic of the rear shock? Maybe they installed the front springs at the rear (if that's even possible) and vise versa?

The boot on the other side is fine, on that side it compressed skewed when the car was lowered from the jack, will lift the car and fix that.
