I never noticed it before. It is good to know. Then I don't know why it feels looser after getting CIP 19.02. It was always tight before.

I got CP 19.01 and my lawer screen does not go away I do have Nav. I think the Lawer is only there because of Nav.
BTW 2 days after my update my screen went dead. The iDrive (Voice command etc)still works I just cant see what the heck I am doing. The only good thing about this is that I am forced to learn all the Voice commands.. I have 2006 525i

My Ride: 2010 E63 AMG -- Palladium Silver/Black. Love this car but looking to switch things up to keep things fresh. 2nd AMG in a row, but toying with coming back into the BMW fold!

Don't go there. I've spent the last three years in a GS430 and can't wait to get back to BMW (although with these issues I'm reading, I'm not so sure). I can attest that while the GS should be more reliable, it can not put a grin on your face like a 5-series can.

I 100% agree. BTW...Just car back after two days in garage and it seems to be fixed (band-aid until next software update in mid-December.
