Hit the accept button on the I-Drive this morning headed to work, and then I was prompted to clear a "Passenger Restraint System Failure" or something like that... the message says something like, There is a problem in the Seat Belt, Tensioners, or Air Bag system... continue to use the seatbelts. Or something to that effect...

Anyone else seen this??? I did a few searches and came up with nothing.

Hi

Welcome to the club. I posted the same problem months ago. After two fix attempts at the dealer, the error message still pops up. I had given up trying to bring the car back and forth to and from the dealer. Just learned to make it a habbit to press the IDrive button every time I get inside my car.

I'd be really interested to hear what your dealer has to say. Good luck.

Bunbun.

I appreciate these are Cyprus pounds, but that is still a scary total for a simple fault.!!

I've had the exact same warning for the past 5 days. The car has an appointment at the dealer today. I'll post what the resolution was when I get the car back.

These are pounds Sterling since it was emailed to me by Kiran who leaves in the U.K. But anyway it was all covered by waranty. We all bought one of the best cars in the world the least we could ask is for are airbags to work. Oh and I dont thing this can be classified as a simple fault.

If your have this message the dealer in Cyprus told me that your airbags will
not fuction in case you need them. So DO NOT ignore this message or as one forum member said he just got used to it!!!!

How can you get used to an error message concerning your SAFETY.

Get you cars Fixed. If it worked for me it sure should work for all

Cheers

Kyriacos
