Well got her back today after two weeks. They had to send out the DME to correct the rough start issue. They also performed the recall. I wont know till tommorow morning if the rough start issue was corrected. The new software also gave me the new updates on I-Drive. I really like the new setup. More to the point and better organized. Lawyer accept screen goes away in 5 secs, which is great. Car also seems to shift better, and seems more powerful. As far as the two weeks goes, I did tell them that I wasnt in a hurry, since I had there 330 loaner. Less miles on my car. It sure does feel good to get back into the 550, what a difference. Coincindently, today was one year that I got my car :D

What was the 'recall' - I have a 2006 550i... :blink:

Seems to be an issue with the Steering Sensor on 06 E60
Symptons
1. DSC indicator light will illuminate and display a message
2. Automatic turn signal function will not reset

States that steering will not be affected.

Got it in the mail in september, I hadnt noticed any symptoms.

Well guys, after starting the car this morning, I have to say, SHE IS PERFECT!!! No rough start, no high idle, nothing, she is just smooth, smooth, smooth. Whatever they did in north jersey with the DMS, it worked :D :thumbsup:
