I am curious, too, whether runflats would have prevented this loss of control. I know you aren't supposed to drive 100 mph with a loss of pressure, but wouldn't a runflat still prevent a total loss of control?

Regarding runflats guys, I've had a nail in (sidewall) my rear left tire about amonth ago and went to dealer to fix it. They came out with $400 and something pricetag for replacing it that I quickly refused to do. So I went to tirerack and bought 4 non rft Pirelli Neros M+S. Thinking that RFT would have saved me from crash at all is true, so think twice before you switch.
