Sorry to hear the accident. Your insurance should cover the repair costs, given that your have an '08. If you are fixing it by a BMW dealer/shop, they should be able to order the M5/Mtech rear bumper for you. Good luck, hope everything works out the best for you.

Felix - Some insurance companies find used bumpers at a discounted cost, which could allow you to get into an M5 bumper, without having to pay more, out of pocket (less your deductible of course). These bumpers are like new and the body shop will fix any imperfections to get them like new, once they fix your car. This happened to me on my E39. I damaged the front bumper and ended up getting the M-Sport bumper for my E39. I didn't know this was even possible, until my insurance agent from Geico told me about this option. It was really cool. It looked SPANKIN' new. You would have never known otherwise. Give it a shot.
