Great looking car!

Don't you hate it when the dealer puts their sticker on the back of the car?

thanks for the pics.? very nice .? is that a cradle for your phone or pda next to the shifter ?

That's a cradle for my company phone (Nokia 6310 - carkit). It has since been joined by a cradle for my private phone (Sony Ericsson K700i + hcb-300 bluetooth carkit) and a cradle for my TomTom GO.

I already had the TomTom GO, and it warns me for all speed camera's here in Belgium. I love this little GPS !

Car does look exactly like a technology geek's car should look now

Starting next week on creating the fiberglass subwoofer enclosure in the trunk, holding my Boston Acoustics Pro 12.5LF Subwoofer, and a plexi covered neon lighted amp rack holding my 1119W RMS Rockford Fosgate 1051S amp. Should complement the standard subs rather nicely

Now if I could only get the CD-Text to work...

Jeez.... Spent 6 hours today installing my SonyEricsson Bluetooth carkit. You wouldn't BELIEVE how many screws and clips are holding our cars together...

Then when you have it open there's about a zillion cables and you can start playing russian roulette to find a switched 12V... (Green/yellow as a matter of fact, in the headliner light). Then try to put everything back together again with all of the extra cables...

Works perfectly now, and phone and car see each other

Phew. DIY project 1 successfully completed. Now as soon as my 4 gauge wiring kit arrives, I can start working on the audio stuff.

Coincidentally...does anyone have a wiring scheme for the E60 with all the wire colors explained ? Would make life a helluva lot easier for the DIY people amongst us...
