Hello all. Just wanted to say I still get Goose Bumps everyday I drive one of my BMW's. Never had this happen with another car company after months of owner ship. Only thing that ever came close to this was my 2004 Infiniti G35 4 door sedan. At the time we had the Infiniti we also had a 2002 BMW 525i, and when driving each other back to back there such a big difference like Night and Day between the Japanese and German cars. Others please share your stories.

It may be kind of sick but I feel the same way. Can't wait to get in my car, or wash and care for my car for that matter. I have adjusted to the fact that I have a car addiction, and other than money it really does me no harm. I've driven others, but so far BMW is the only car that really gives me that feeling. Last summer I test drove the Acura RL, Infinity M45, Audi S4, and Audi A6. After each test drive I had the same thought "not a BMW driving experience."

No goose bumps. But, I never fail to enjoy my 545i and Z06 and my wife's X5 4.4i. They all are great pleasures to drive. The RX-7 is a bit old, but it still is fun too; it is such a stealther. While I keep them all clean, I can't say I enjoy any of the process except the final step--taking the wax off. I always think about how lucky I am about our cars and our lives in general, and I too look back at all the cars. I have to say though that my feelings would be the same with a great many cars--including Audis, Mercs, Lexuses, Porsches, etc., etc. I have no brand loyalty. I just always like what I choose to buy.

I had owned many cars, and most of them were Japanese - used to live in Eastern Russia, very close to Japan. Had numerous Toyotas, Nissans, etc, and when I moved to US, I decided to get an American car. Big mistake! Even bigger mistake was to get a Chevy Corsica - I thought - 3 liter engine, small car, should be a blast to drive. Wrong! It was breaking down all the time, and 3 liter engine was very weak and heavy. Anyway, when it was time to get a new car I got a brand new Mitsubishi - another japanese car. I still have it - its a good quality, solid built car. But it is SOOO boring! I think I might never buy another Japanese car again....

2 years ago I got my first bimmer - a Z3. To this day I smile every time I get behind the wheel - it is a fantastic car. And like many of you said, it has this BMW feel to it, a unique driving experience that no other car in the world can deliver. Its no surprise that my next car is another BMW.
