Hi all

I don't really like the orange eyebrow LEDs on my e60, they make the car look like a Volvo, so I disabled them.

1: Open the bonnet.
2: Above the eyebrow, unclip the mini connector.
3: You probably want to tape this over with electrical/insulating tape.
3a: Do the same the other side.
4: Check i-drive - no errors.
5: Admire your new eyebrow-less e60.

Hope this is informative for someone else who doesn't like the eyebrow look

Hi

This something i have been looking at doing, however i was not considering disconnecting the whole light. Does this not affect your indicators??

I was looking to replace the orange bulbs with a white/silver indicator bulbs that still flash orange but appears white when not in use.

Anybody got any answer to this

Noooooooooooooooo!

BMW spend millions of $ making it look unique, and you castrate it !

Now it looks like the Chief of Police in 'Police Acadamy' when they shaved his eyebows off

Wow, that is one of the most distinctive angles of E60, I love pulling up next to a car and seeing our LEDS reflect in there paint job,AWESOME!

I'd prefer it if BMW spent millions fixing other issues like creaking seals, rattling interior, and transmission slam than invest in some LEDs, but each to their own.

Great, if I wanted my BMW 5er to look "broken" I'd do this mod.

Hahahha and people complained like crazy when they lost it during V17 (?) upgrade... maybe BMW needs to just give you that upgrade...
