Hi,

I was offered 720.00/month tax included for a 2008 535i Prem/Sport/Nav/Ipod/Heated (MSRP 58600), 36 months 12k/year, total 4500.00 out of pocket. Is this a good price?

I know BMW gives away Premium pkg for 2008 model but I thought I saw some posts say they're giving away NAV as well. Can someone confirm this? I was going to wait for 09 535i but I think buying an 08 will save me some money for modding later. 09 might have newer iDrive but it will cost a lot more.

If you recently got a 535i, can you please share your numbers?

Thanks in advance,

The MSRP on my car as optioned was $53,900. 12K/36 months. $804/month.
Probably not a fantastic deal, but I am happy with it.

BTW... I took delivery in Nov 2007.

That's a lot out of pocket at drive off. That the best deal they can give you as this is an '08 and '09 models are being released...

Either way, GL with your purchase

You are getting a fair deal. The 09 i-drive controller isn't that big of a deal since the on screen software is the same as the 08.

The point of leasing is to not put down a lot of money, if any. Do first payment only if possible. Remember, if you total the car or it gets stolen, you don't get that "up front" money back from your insurance company, on a lease. Keep that money in the bank and collect interest on it.

I am paying only a tad more on my 550i with ONLY 1st payment at signing, 10K/36mo. And there IS a NAV back incentive (at least on the 550i), never heard of a Premium package one, though. Check BMW's website for the incentives...should be listed per model .
