I am new to this forum, so hi everyone
Since this woman in huge infinity forgot to brake and destroyed my 330xd when I was waiting on lights last week, I decided to get an E60 or rather E61... But I am completely new to this model, so could you guys tell me what the usual problems are, what should I look out for?
I found this nice 530xd E61 (08/2006), 1 owner, full history etc. The thing is that the first entry is at 49K kms (about 30K miles)... So I donīt get it- did the first owner really have change the oil and inspected it for the first time at 30K?? Any ideas?

The service information or lack of it would be a huge red flag for me ... but it may be the services were done somewhere other than a BMW Dealer. You should ask for both service records AND any warranty work performed before you buy. Without those details in hand I wouldn't even touch a BMW much less buy it!

If I were looking at an e61 Touring I'd go over the rear suspension carefully - I hear that part of the car is problematic.
