Seriously, I just got mine back with 16.2 (& new cupholders). The cuplaunchers they installed a few months ago are now back to being cup holders again. They work just as well as when I first got the car. (Hoplefully the spring won't break on these like my first one).

This almost makes me want to drive back to MA to your dealership, and have them install new cupholders for me. All kidding aside....well, most kidding aside, I am on my third set of cupholders, and they are just a wee bit better than the previous ones, but still not like the originals that worked great...right up to when they froze in the open position. The ones I have now, still don't let a cup/can sit flat on the bottom flange, so the cup/can is always leaning, and not snug in the holder......this pretty much guarantees a mess!! I've decided to be more German about the whole thing, and take up smoking because the lighters and ashtrays are perfect, and not drink in my car anymore!!

Well whatever else I might say about my dealer, they have always made another BMW available for rental when I need it. They worked a great deal with Enterprise rental down the street from them...they sold them a fleet of 325's, and then pay for their customers to rent them while having the car serviced. This was part of the deal when we bought the car, and I think it's kind of cool...not sure how common this is, but I read several posts from members that seem to end up in the funky cavalier-type rentals.........makes me appreciate my dealership that much more!

My 545 is at the dealer place right now for software upgrade and brake check. it's gonna take 4 days to complete the job, they gave me a X3 as loaner so I'm going to Vegas tomorrow with that car.
