Just going in for routine maintenance, but I wanted to do something I haven't done the past two times it's been in.

It's regarding the software upgrade, and I'm not sure what version I'm running. It's a 2/08 build. Someone said if the car hasn't been left overnight at the dealership, I didn't get an upgrade of any kind, which it hasn't. But if I was planning on using tunes later on, I know the software version will make a difference and may complicate things.

So my question is, does the latest software version have any "cons" to it, like the one update that supposedly gave drivers the "turbo lag?" Is the latest one just as safe to use with a tune as the one before the "turbo lag" one? Or should I just not mention anything about it? I'm not sure if I experience the lag, which is kind of embarrassing to say, but all I know is the car is fast, and I knew that from day one.

A 2/08 build, bought 7/08. Do I have the "ideal" software, or do I need to go get it? If so, how do I go about doing it beyond the usual "tell the dealer you sense a lag sometimes" which would imply I wanted a software update?
