Getting Radio back when a TP does;nt affect you

Every car ive owned before i got a BMW if a traffic anoucement came on that i was not interested in there was always a button to press to get back to radio or CD quick.
Im finding it a right pain with the iDrive as there does not seem a quick way to get rid the report. I dont want to turn the reports off completely because sometimes they art useful anyone got any suggestions.
