Have just bought a new all chrome grill to replace the painted blacked one I thought my e60 looked a bit dark with it so I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like but not the fitting

That's the way to go

Since you also have the chrome window frames the chrome grill will look tremendous!

Remember to post some pics!

PS. Your car is a hell of a looker, abosolutely in TOP 10. My old E60 was also Mystic Blue!
PPS. What about your personilized lisence plate??

Just fitted mine, I wasnt looking forward to the job but manged it in 5 minutes in the end. In order to get access I followed the usual instructions, remove the rubber strip above the top 3 clips and push them out with a screw driver etc...then remembering that the bottom clips are a nightmare I melted the clip out of the centre of the bottom two clips with a soldering iron, I thought that this damage would be acceptable to one side at most, then I give it a big pull and out it came. Access to the other side was then a doddle so I could get to all of the clips by hand.

First pic shows what i did with the soldering iron..

After fitting...I'm well pleased and if I want I could refit the original as damage is minimal

I got mine with the car, and loved it but NOW I do not miss them at all...

I liked yours as with blue and black was more sporty but your taste and decision if you prefer that ok.

E60 is a car that once you like it like this way after a while another... best basis for mods
