haven't read so much humbug and rumours inyears.. what about 16.3 ?

Just got my car back from dealer... they confirmed that only v15.2 was available to them (BMWNA), so that's what I got.
They said come back in a couple months for 16.2. <_< <_<

I spoke with Fields BMW (in Northfield) this morning and they told me that they just received the new software last Friday. I asked them twice if in fact what they received was the 16.2 version and the service manager assured me that it is 16.2.
However, he told me that they have not installed it in all of their "stations" (whatever that means), but it will be by the end of this week. And they want to install it in a couple of in-house cars first to test them out. He also said that I can make arrangement with Michael Alwin (assistant service manager) to schedule an appointment to have my software upgraded.
If you don't feel like waiting for Motorwerks, you can make arrangement with Michael Alwin at (847) 441-5300.

[/quote]They recieve a CIP cd or a CIP download. They then install this cd on each of their GT1 and/or DIS Plus computers, thi takes quite a while. Hence why he says all their stations dont have it on yet

[/quote]This was the SAME thing that Gephardt in CO told me. Smae as you, I confirmed twice beforing driving the 90 mile trip. They still only had 15.2. I hope this is true and you can get it installed soon. Keep us posted.
