Hi all,
I havent been around for some time now.
Did anyone encounter some sound in the automatic gearbox when performing a kick-down? Kind of like when you miss a gearshift in manual gearboxes.

No, no gearbox kick-down sound and imo there shouldn't be any. It seems wrong and it would be a good time to check the dealer. Is it loud or bearly noticeable, does it do all the time? Sounds pretty serious...

I'm trying to figure it out BEFORE i take it in for a check. Warranty has expired, of course...It's only from time to time. It's not very loud. Mostly when i drive a little sportier.

If i remember corectly from the manual, the gearbox fluid is for lifetime...

Did this happen when you start to move slow then suddenly accelerate ?
I think its the zf transmission design issue.
