That is the first time I have heard of a cracked gas tank on an E60. How old is your car and how many miles do you have on it?

That was a poor response. How exactly can you overfill a tank?
If you overfill it, the gas spills down onto the ground.How far was the drive from the gas station to your house? Was it far enough to use some of the gas in the tank?
