Try adjusting the rubber thingy by screwing in (clockwise) a little. Adjust both sides.

I know you have a rep M5 bumper, but you could try the same solutions as members with OEM m-tech bumpers regarding fixing the gap

remove the little screw next to the hood latch loop, and spin it clockwise a few turns. this will suck the hood down more.

Keep two things in mind. 1 - be sure to lower the (2) "rubber bumpers" mentioned at the beginning of this thread...so they don't dent the new lower height of the hood. 2 - you will have to slam the hood harder to get it to close now.

Looks fine to me. I've seen way worse. Yours looks normal.

your hood has 2 latch loops(on the hood itself), that are basically just like a threaded eye bolt. with a plastic piece that prevents them from turning. remove the screw that holds the plastic, and just turn the hood loop either way..... to either tighten or loosen the hood.

yea the best way to do this is tighten the loops all the way up and then close it and see if it can latch. if it cannot spin it 4 times counter clockwise and try closing again and do this until it closes. once it closes tighten the loops one turn clockwise til the hood does not close. then pop the hood and turn the loops 1 turn counter clockwise and u have found your maximum tightness.
