66 degrees and low humidity. Did not use Accelleration Assist. Put it in D1 and just held on.

Rudy,
Not tonight, but sometime soon. I want to get a few runs in before the exhaust goes on next week. Best 0-60 prior was a 5.52. Had a few in the high 5's but with the SMG I find it to be inconsistent.
With a normal 6 speed (i.e. clutch pedal) you can get a better launch.
With the automatic you can "powerbrake" to build up tourque.

I'm thinking of getting one of those too - how accurate are they? Do you get pretty consistent numbers?

108 trapspeed is definitely high unless you have mods. Highest 545 trap I've seen is 103.7. 108 is E39 M5 territory. 0-60 and 1/4 mile times look good though.

Not sure about the accuracy as I haven't gone to the drag strip (yet).
Just put the thing back in the car this weekend. Calibrated it again.
(Was getting fairly consistent numbers in my Audi A6 (best was 5.15 after the chip)).
No performance mods until the exhaust comes next week.
I only had time for one run tonight. Will try a few more in the next day or so.
I'd like to see what differnce, if any, the B&B exhaust will have on performance.
(Thought the trap speed was a little high myself but who knows).

Previous qtr mile trap speeds were in the 104 range.

Need to try Accelleration Assist as well.

The G-Timer is a neat toy. Lateral G's are cool to see. Many different displays keeps it interesting. Fun toy for around $300.

Where did you mount the D1 and does it look okay where it is positioned?

G-Timer is mounted on the windshield (Below my Valentine 1). Looks like crap, actually, that's why I only use it now and then.

Just tried the 0 - 100 km/h ( 62 mph ) last night.

With DTC and DSC off: 5.85 sec ( manually timed with GPS ).

Not bad for a fully loaded 545 with steptronic!
