My stereo Knob seemed to be becoming loose but I did not think anything of it until it stopped adjusting the volume this afternoon. So as of now i have to use the steering wheel controls to adjust it. Is there a way to tighten the knob back up? When i press the button in and turn it, it works fine, but its a pain to have to do this all the time. I noticed after removing the plastic knob cover there is what looks to be a flat head screw driver slot on it. Does this slot serve a purpose? thanks for any assistance you can offer. thanks Brian

so should i look into replacing the stereo or do you think i can get this fixed without breaking the bank??

While it's not causing a problem, I have the same condition on my unit.
How did you remove the knob?
