Apologies for misspelling and grammatical errors...
My wife and i was out driving the other day.
We stopped at a place where I had a little errand to attend to.
Meanwhile the wife stayed in the car listening to the radio.
But the channel was a little boring and she wanted to change it. Then she pressed button 1 beneath the cd-drive.
That one makes the car call her.
The wife does not understand anything and then she presses button No. 2.
That one is programmed to call my best mate.
She still does not understand much. Now she hears a phone ringing in the car. It is her cellphone. She looks at it and sees that I'm calling her! And my phone is in the car.
She is now stressed up a little.
The next thing happening is that the car is calling my buddy. He answers through the loudspeaker system.
She becomes more stressed. This is probably the point where anger erupts.
She further presses button No. 3. And the car starts to navigate home. A woman's voice is now to telling her directions.
My buddy hears all this (I assume - I'm not in the car yet).
When I came back to the car there was a very angry wife in the passenger seat cursing BMW!
And my buddy was laughing loudly out of the speakers!
I got a good laugh out of this - and some yelling from my wife.

Very funny story, thanks for sharing. My wife chooses not to touch the idrive at all, even when she takes it for the day. I have to change it to a station, and then show her how to flip through them with the steering wheel controls. That is her limit, she gets no other e60 privleges, for her own safety

I programmed a new I Drive feature that only works with my sunroof open. I hit button #6 when the wife is yelling and the ejector seat I had installed sends her flying out the sunroof. Of course I only do this when there is no traffic around as I do not want to cause any damage any other cars. ( just kidding Mrs. Corgidog)

Where can I get one of those?? Now that's a mod I might actually consider doing -- lease or not. (Of course, I'm kidding just as you are).

My Ride: ActiveHybrid - fully tricked out
Model Year: 2013
My wife chuckled at this story.
All she has learned is how to set the radio station using the steering wheel commands. She gets around just fine without using navigation.
Great story. Thanks for sharing.
