Thumbs up

I just had my Nav Business upgraded to Nav Professional. Does anyone of you who have the Nav Prof with the large screen know if it can be used in full screen mode? Meaning that for example the map presentation uses the entire screen. Or is it always in split screen mode, with 2/3 and 1/3 of the screen used for different functions in each?

You can't use the entire screen for anything, as far as I know. The only time the entire screen is used is with the main menu.

Keep in mind the the 2/3rds screen is the entire screen if you don't have nav pro.

Once the upgrade was available the upgrade went quickly i half a day without any problems. I bought the car with the Nav Prof eight months ago, but got the Nav Bus and was promissed an upgrade at no extra charge as I paid it at delivery of the car. I don?t know what the upgrade cost stand alone. But there have been other that had major problems with their upgrade, se othe threads at this forum... My car was pre wired for the Nav Prof!

Mille:

What options do you have?

Just curious if the options has anything to do with the amount of problems encountered during the upgrade.

I have fopllowing options on my BMW 545i:
- Professional Sound System with Logic7
- CD changer
- Comfort seats
- Automatically shadeable foldable mirrors
- Curtain on rear window
- Automatic gear
- Automatic speed control (not radar)

Mille, It would be of great help if you could find out from your dealer what the part number is for the business to professional nav upgrade is.

My dealership (Nottingham, UK) claims there is nothing on their database about this option being available !

Many thanks in advance
