It came on, went into the diagnostics and it said "car can still be driven" but bring to BMW dealership as soon as possible.

Anyone have this?

I got an 08 535i.

Either case, I just noticed you have a 08, just take it in, why worry, your covered with warranty!

Did you tweak any boost w/ piggy back / reflash?
Fuel pump maybe operating very close to max that it triggers the Check Engine Light.

If you are still stock, take it back to dealer and get it fixed under warranty.

Yes, both the SA and mechanic present were amazed
that the "fuel pump light" came on. They expected to
see a "check engine" light.

No clue.

The car is under warranty and getting worked on now.

I had a '09 335 loaner reserved, and when I went to drop my car off, and pick up the 335, my SA told me the fuel pump crapped out on it the day before, and it ended up having to be towed back to the dealer....glad it happened to someone else I've heard of fuel pump issues on another "35".....wondering how common it actually is on the turbo cars?
