Americas Tire doesnt know how to balance tires, i try balancing my wheels on my truck and i got hella vibration, i tried it at 3 of there stores and same thing there machines are not calibrated properly, so i went to my friends shop and he balanced them perfectly.

I agree with that. When I took it the firs day, they balanced it and said that tires were off balance. I rode off into the sunset and the vibration was worse but they were closed. I came back first thing following morning and they said, it must me the tires. They quoted me tires ???

I insisted and they took it in and rebalanced. Moments later they brought the car out and said, I was right that the front were off. Didn't they just tried to rebalance the night before ???

I can't believe I paid for lifetime balancing from those guys.

What do spacers have to do with hubcentric rims?

You don't need centering rings as a result of having hubcentic rims, therefore minimizing your vibration potential.

Spacers are not related.
Thanks. That is what I meant.

so by the looks of this thread it was never the quality of the miro's. It was the joe schmo terrible shops you took your wheels to? I will be getting mine soon and was going to some local tire place but screw it, im going to spend the extra money and take them to the dealer. They can put on the tires and balance everything and i will mount them myself! Im really glad i read this. Lots of good information.

How do you know it's the tire? I asked this before but I didn't get an answer. How does one know that the balancing issues are related to the tires?

Not sure to tell you the truth. I just let the guys at Discount figure it out and they did. Maybe they spin 'em with and without the tires and know somehow after analyzing the results??

Since I bought my car with these VMRs and bought the wheel/tire coverage, I'm going to take it back to the dealer and have them figure it!

That would be a valid claim and they should fix it to your complete satisfaction. Let me know how it goes. My hub rings are aluminum and they feel flimsy. I wonder if there are better quality hub rings out there? Help on this area would be greatly appreciated.

+1 It's like crap shoot with rep wheels. Sometimes you are, and sometimes you aren't. OEM is the only way to avoid this issue.
