Ever since I got the 19" Miro M6 reps, I've been battling vibration issues. First, I got the shop where I bougth from put hub rings to reduce the vibration/shimmy. It helped a bit but the shimmy was still there at higher speeds. A day or two later, they rebalanced it again and the shimmy was gone but I was still getting some vibration in the rear. So, I wanted to have another shop check the balance of the wheels and I took it to America's Tire. They said the wheels were not balanced and they had to balance it.

I took off and the shimmy is back on the front and vibration at higher speed.

What the heck?! Is there not a reputable place to balance my wheels or is there something else wrong?

Help. Anyone have this experience with their Miro M6 reps? TIA

sounds like you need road force balance at high speed

You can also try and retorque the wheels in a star pattern

now did you make the hub rings were the correct bore size from you reps to 72.56mm of your car?

if you do all of that and the answer is yes, check the tires for bulges, and check the wheels for bends.

I will have America's Tire do the balance at high speed. What size hub ring would I need for the m6 and my car?

Thanks

the quick fix would be to get the right hub ring size. does any one know what size hub ring to get?

PTL mentioned 72.56 mm on the on the car. what hub size is needed for the wheels?

thanks for anyone's help.

Do folks experience the same issues with any aftermarket wheel- DPE, iForged, Work, etc.?

I have a very slight vibration/shimmy between 38mph and 45mph...only at those speeds.

I had the exact same problem. Thought it was my replicas, turns out it was my tires. Bought my whole set up from Discount Tire and to get the vibration to go away they upgraded my tires for free. After that smooth as silk!
