I have just bought a set of used oem 19"alloys (172s). so now i ll be changing my mv135 18" which had run flat tyres with these new wheels. so what i wanna know is that which spare wheel should i get, as most of you would know that 172s come with wider rears so should i get a wider spare wheel or normal front wheel plus i need some info about the tyres as well as the 172s i have bought are without tyres so i ll have to buy new tyres and dont wanna splash out much so please advise me on good cheap tyres or any suggestion about used tyre. as always your help is highly appreciated.

For the spare, get the regular "doughnut" and don't bother with the full-size spare. If you REALLY want to, get the narrower (front) one - just for practical reasons - cheaper tire.
As for a good tire, Hankook Ventus V12 is considered to be the best summer tire. |

Glazed or otherwise ... a full size tire will eat up too much trunk space!

I done exactly the same swap as you not too long ago. I got Falkens on my 172s and am very happy with them. I also got the space saver wheel from the dealer for ?150. It also comes with the jack and other bits.
