I have a 535xi, looking for a FMIC. Found one through ESS tuning but 800$ plus shipping seems expensive but might be my only choice.

I have a Vishnu Procede latest version with intake and currently in the process of locating catless downpipes. If I get downpipes though I definitely want the FMIC installed so I have no worries in the summer. I have 30,000 miles and I want to keep the engine protected since I plan on keeping it for a couple of years.

Anyone have any links or places where I can get this? Have plenty of 335 owners offering me theres but the piping is different on the 5 series. I don't think XI or i matter in this case. I think it should be the same, not 100%. I am sure there are posts about this but I haven't seen any info when I do google searches or even through this forum which is so difficult to search for things!

Let me know anyone.

This is what I've found so far.

Autocouture Motoring says they can use a 335 intercooler and order hoses for a custom fit.

sorry that will not fit a 535.. I've been in contact with ets they need a 535 to build a intercooler for it.. and also i question the fitment of that big tom stepped i/c, because the 535 as a power steering cooler on the radiator, its really getting in the way.. #2

Too bad..

Here is another one:

Looks to me like it is also supposed to be a 335 product but the distributor is including 535 in the list - probably won't fit. The price is nuts.

I've had this one on my 335I , I'm sure it will fit easily in the E60 ..

Ya ETS tuning has it advertised but they don't make it! We are going to try it in the next couple weeks to retrofit the 335 intercooler onto my car. We will what happens.
