I just came back from a walk while I'm here in Boston. During my walk back I reminded myself that I once thought about getting a Euro plate in the front. Note: In Florida we do not have front State plates. Anyway, I thought about getting one some time ago, but I hesitate having holes in my bumper in the event I decide to take it off later. Also, selling the car with holes may be a turnoff to a buyer. I've seen some nice cars with Euro plates and I actually like the Euro plates in the front more than a local State plate. What do you guys think? Does the E60 look good with a front plate? Does it look better depending on the style of front bumper you have?

My Ride: '04 545i, sport pkg, premium sound, sprint booster,
When I bought my 545i, it didn't have a front license plate bracket but I had the holes in my bumper. I recently replaced my bumper and thought I've been very lucky about not having a plate in the front, but I didn't want any holes. I came across this website: http://www.moweraxle.com/ . I've been very happy with this bracket, it's top notch, very fine craftsmanship. Larry (the owner) was easy to talk with and made sure I was completely satisified with his product.

So, It basically goes in the tow hole? If I'm not mistaken, TX requires front plates right?

I do not care for the front plate. TX requires one, but if they are pulling me over, it will be an added citation on to what they originally pulled me over for I do have the tow hook bracket setup, but just never got around to putting it on.

WOW - I'm not thrilled about a front plate being off center, but that MFest design is HOT!!!

No car ever looks better with front plates, at least in my opinion.
If I live in LA, I would definitely get a retractable setup that Brabus has, or the MFest option above.

Greece is the coolest country in the world - therefore a European Union licence plate from Greece looks the best on a BMW. My humble opinion.
