Front door pillars different color than rear door pillars

Anyone know why my door pillars don't match? Seems to only be noticeable at certain angles and lighting.

Looks like the finish has been altered. Perhaps an over zealous detailer using an aggressive product or a polisher. You may want to post this to some of the detailers forums to see if they can chime in on that front. Good luck

I have the same issue with my door handles and my old side skirts. Certain angles and they give a purple hue instead of the normal black sapphires.

Was your car ever in an accident and are both sides like this? It looks like maybe the wrong B-pillar finisher was used. There's a standard shadow trim finisher and a high gloss shadow trim finisher. The part is pretty cheap if it bothers you -- only around $30.
