Check the control arms too. I got the SAME rattling out of my car yesterday. Turns out, one of the control arms is shot (loose), which is causing the rattling which I can hear inside the cabin. Even my wife, who is oblivious to this stuff, noticed it.

About couple of months ago, I had some rattle at mid speeds, from about 40 - 65 MPH. not slower, not faster. They changed the front wheel bearings and that fixed it. Never came back after that. I don't know if it's the same kind of rattle, kind of a humming sound that I had.

I used to get a sound like yours.
I think it will be these parts
I have change them at 40000km and it was fix.
so check to see if the rubber are split.
11 Right tension strut with rubber mounting
16 Right wishbone

Finally, peace and quiet
from front axle noise. I took my 525 to dealer to fit front Koni shocks and change tension strut bushings. Dealer advised that the rubber mounts for struts and the spring pads needed changing, but tension strut bushings seemed ok. I insisted to change all, could not cope with the chance the rattle would persist.
Most important thing is there is no more rattling. Yeah mon!
