Four Bent Rims...hit two huge and unavoidable potholes. Car is vibrating. Insurance will cover the cost minus $500 deductible. I drive all over Mass, Connecticut and RI for work and Conn by far has way better roads than Mass or RI. I never see a pothole on Conn roads. RI is a disgrace....There is no excuse for these potholes. Especially since our taxes are so f****n high here. But that is the bureaucracy of RI government. The idiots in this state keep electing these jerks that give all their lazzy buddies jobs at the DOT and other state offices yet rape us in taxes and do nothing for the roads. My dealer has 4 other people in for bent rims now. What a disgrace.

Sorry had to vent...I feel better now.

Hey, if I had four (!) bent rims I would vent too, and bad....

In Finland you can sue the road district if the road have bad potholes,
that damaged your car.

What about an collective sue?

Just another thaugh, change to 17" rims

Sorry to hear about the bad. But, OK, $500 for new rims--not bad.

Actually a little bright spot to the day. Turns out my insurance company gives you a $50 credit on your deductible for every year you go without filing a claim. I went 4 so I am getting a $200 credit. So I only have to pay $300 for 4 new rims. Not bad. It's just the principle of the thing. The roads shouldn't be left like that.

Ahhh so Romania isn't the only country in the world with bad roads.
I drive extra carefull and i try to avoid everything. Sorry man. It's a pain in the ass for smth like this to happen even though you're covered by the insurance.

Hi Fellow Rhode Islander,

I feel your pain. RI roads are a disgrace. I was a passenger in my friends TL last week and we hit a crater in the high speed lane of 295 S at the RI boarder. We nearly spilt our beers. Only kidding.

The noise was incredible. It did knock his front end out of alignment. I suspect we have some of the worse roads in the country.
