I know nothing is official until it comes from BMW of North America, but the international BMW site (www.BMW.com) has now posted an English language version of the '09 German language catalog that I originally posted here a week or so ago. See the attachment.

That's interesting they're implementing the new I-Drive system in the E60 before the release of the F10. I want it.
|
Now your car will look really rubbish if you dont take the Bluetooth and the Navigation - you'll have two buttons on the iDrive controller that do nothing. Much like the ones of the steering wheel if you didnt take Bluetooth and Voice Input.
Good Marketing. |
I hope my new e61 came with the new idrive.
September is comming :D  |

PS. The link don't work but that's usual for BMW pages, then change links all the time. |
Are they also introducing the new 3.0L diesel engine thats annouced for the revised 3-series that too has the new i-drive and arrives in the UK in September.

I wonder if we would get any firmware upgrades to our NAV system that would add more features. I would love to be able to switch the full screen to the map instead of a split, also it would be nice if they could add the street names to the map in perspective 3D view.
