BMW is trying to say this in an environmental condition. I think this is bogus. This problem seems to happen in every type environment. I think all the A/C units are defective and this is just an excuse. This is the only car which i have had this problem which. Also, if you vote please state you general location (i.e. northeast, southwest ...)

Thank You

That's becuase the weather is always beautiful in Southern California! Seriously, it is a repeating issue for me in the heat and humidity of New Orleans. Never occured in my previous four cars, all subjected to the same heat/humidity.

One E30, two E39s, and one E60 -- never an odor...

Maybe you have to never use the recirculation feature. Does the car still leave a puddle of water from the AC when parked?

In the E39 and the E60, I always leave the recirculation feature set to auto...

Me too. But it never gets killer hot here in Germany although the humidity does get pretty high sometimes. Wonder if this is an issue for any of our friends in Singapore. They have special cooling fans and stuff for the engine .....maybe they have a different setup for the AC too Name: i_dont_know.gif
