Tell us how you really feel.

Dubai still has debris so you might have a chance there as well to get hit with flying debris. Sorry about your windshield.

I have a house in Dubai and I've been there 2 months ago and at the moment its the most developing city in the world. I have an E class merc there and so far I never had debris coz there roads and more developed each year and its soo friggin smooth. All I see there are SLRs Bugattis and Lambos and btw if you really want to know how I feel.... I feel like absolute crap and want to move out sooner we have a lot of ruts here and our government doesn't do shit about it

Sorry about your windshield bro, it happens to a lot of us (mine was replaced in March). Just make sure you get OEM glass and you'll be fine. Our cars have the rain sensor built into the windshield, so it's better to get OEM replacement glass. Good luck

Happened to me 2 weeks after we bought our brand new 525xi a few years back. I was PISSED. I went through insurance and they directed me to Glasslite. They used OEM glass from a local dealer and the cost to me was zero since it happened while the car was moving in traffic. Try going through insurance or it will be expensive.

Absolutely go through insurance, the quote from the dealer to replace my windshield was $1400 (I managed to get OEM glass taken care of for about $500)
