Try these... my dad got them for his E34 and they were excellent. Much more durable and higher quality than whats in the E60. This was like 2 years ago though... But I doubt they'll decrease the quality... *shrugs*

On the left navagation pane
Goto Interior > Floor Mats > Plus Floor Mats.
Now I actually notice they have "Ultimate" floor mats... sounds like those are even better...

I agree that the windshield on my 550i shows some small chips after about 17,000 miles of driving. On the other hand, it could be much worse. I had an Audi A6 4.2 and the glass in the windshield on that car was so soft I sometimes thought that a bug hitting the glass at highway speed would cause a chip. It got so bad that it affected my visibility and I had the windshield replaced. The glass on my e-60 is head and shoulders better than the Audi was - no comparison.

The windshield issue is a concession to safety. Mine busted within 3,000 miles of highway driving.

I would fully concur regarding the windshield mine is very pitted after 37K of driving and as I drive into the sun going to work or home it can be very annoying. That said Im sure its a trade-off to shattering glass although a plastic film is sandwiched in laminate glass to stop this happening.
Carpet mats are lightweight but I use rubber mats over these in the winter as beige is not practical in bad weather all of this however is more than made up for with a great car BMW simply make the best diesel powerplants.

My friend has a 2006 325I. His winshield cracked once at 29500 miles. He has recently replaced it with a new one purchased at BMW and installed there. Guess what! Two weeks after it cracked again! Are they installing some kind of the cheap shit? Not a very good expirience...
