Flickering Tail Lights on Warm Up

Yesterday, we had a cold frosty morning and I had left the car out. It had a healthy coat of frosting on it so I started to warm her up. It was still a little dark so the lights automatically turned on. As I was just looking around the outside I noticed the tail lights would dim and flicker slightly. Not a huge amount of variation, but enough for me to notice.

I am not too concerned, just figuring that the cold morning and low idle was just a variation in power until the car was fully warmed up.

But, should I be concerned at all?

You are not the only one!

I've seen it too on our E60 during cold mornings, if the car is just standing and running at idle. You're right, it's not a huge amount of variation, but I've noticed it too... OK - I admit, I'm a freak!
