My car had the Flat Tyre symbol on and i carried it to the tyre shop and they found a nail in tyre. Anyways they plugged the tyre and its no longer leaking air. Do i have to reset some stuff in the i-drive to remove the light?

:nono: Wrong answer!! :lol: Yes, there is a setting in the iDrive to reset the tyre warning. The model year of your car will determine whether you have Flat Tire Monitor (FTM) or Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS). No matter the system, you reset it in the iDrive...

Now that I think about it, IIRC, the Euro models are FTM even the LCIs. So, *with the car stopped, push the i-Drive button, scroll to vehicle settings "click", push up to FTM "click", go to reset, click "yes." It will say "initializing." Drive for five miles or so, then it will clear.

*You must be stationary when you go through this procedure. Then drive.

Yes, always reset the iDrive after you checked the tires air pressures.

I just had a tyre puncture repaired this morning. Nail in the rear tyre, had the flat tyre warning on the I-drive.

In the information menu (press controller in on main menu) go to vehicle settings, RDA, and then you will have the option to rest it. Car must be on and stationary whilst it is initialising.
