I have a 2006 530i. It has the FTM system. Just look in your iDrive settings and it will tell you. If you have the FTM system in your car there will be a a "Flat Tire Monitor" section where you can reset the FTM. You have to do this whenever you add air to the tires or get new tires.

MY 07 550 has the TPMS sensor in each wheel. I know, i had to get a 2nd set of sensors for my 166 wheels.
07 550 definately has the TPMS.
