I test drove a new 535 w/sports today and was very impressed, after driving a 550 for the past 3 years, I thought I was spoiled and going back to 6 cylinder would be tough to do. I like the changes in the E60 for 2009 compaed with my 2007, lots of nice touches. Now for the big question, would I be happy going with the 535 over the 550, dollar wise, with the same spec's the 535 is about $100.00 a moth cheaper?

Tough One......

i hear if you do the juice box stage 3, your comparison question might be 535 vs the M5.

If the 535i is $100 less, might as well do it! With a few simple engine mods you'll be faster than a stock 550.

What a decision you are trying to make, when there is NO losing side to the choice! Good luck with your decision!

WHAT??????????????, I'm sorry, have no idea what your saying. I'm a lease guy, I never spend a penny upgrading or customizing my lease cars, there only mine for a short time.

my e60 is leased as well....but mods can be transferred over

I thought the same thing before..no mods for me...it's inevitable here on this forum...

you'd be surprised how many mod'd e60's are leased....

Please be mindful about the hassle of removal/reinstalling Juicebox (J before you bring the car in for service, not to mention the headache if the dealer finds out.

Dinan is a better choice for if you don't want to deal with this but it will cost more ($2000 vs. $379 for Jb3).
