I am a long time lurker - just took delivery of my latest e60 and I am STOKED - my wife and kids don't care, so I thought I would share with some people who do!
I went with Platinum Grey Metallic / Black Dakota Leather 2010 535i M-Sport package, Premium, Value, Navigation, Power Sunshade, Comfort Access, Sports Automatic Transmission with Paddles, Park distance, Heated Front Seats.
I love the M-Sport package, I am coming out of a 2007 525 and between the new engine, body kit, and upgraded I-Drive - Its a TOTALLY different experience. I love the little M details (wheels, door-sills, steering wheel, etc.) and that Engine is smooth as silk and all the power its alleged to be.
The new I-Drive is also a completely new experience - anyone out there driving GEN 1 I-Drive, get yourself to a dealer and demo the new toys - almost worth the approx 12 grand in increased cost over my last car for the IPOD interface alone!
Now for the mods! Dinan Stage 2, M rear deck spoiler, and shadow grille / shadow badges, are my first few on the list.
I have enjoyed reading this forum for years, and STARING at all the great pictures you all contribute...
