Hey Guys,
So I noticed that my car started to "hick up" last couple of weeks. You can really notice it in second gear WOT from 2K - 6K. I would get momentary hesitations under the acceleration. Since I have Dinan stage II I thought the software was acting up. Dinan told me I could have hit a bad batch of gas, but the problem continued after I switched to a higher octane gas. So I brought it in to the dealer and they diagnosed the problem as a high pressure fuel pump ... being replaced under warranty right now. :( Do you guys know if BMW sorted out this issue in new fuel pumps or with this still be problematic? |

thats what I heard (that they've extended the warranty of the fuel pump to 200,000 or something like that) ... but it would suck to get stuck on a highway because of a failed fuel pump.
