Hi

You can not do the update of a E60 ( or for that matter newer BMW's ) your self , can only be done by PROGMAN at your dealership ( or someone with the same hardware/software ) , the V32 you down loaded I think is for the MK-4 navigation computer used in etc. E46/E38/38 & E53 , NOT for use in a E60/61 !!! , if you try , you risc to "black out" your M-ASK/CCC , so DONT try , it can go to be very expensiv !!! ( new M-ASK/CCC ).

My last update was about a year ago. Not sure the release #. What's changed or updated since then?

I'm curious to know this as well. Since my car isn't quite a year old, is there anything in the newest software version that would warrant me paying out-of-pocket for an update?

Besides the legal aspects you can NOT do this yourself!

Such updates require BMW tools/computers that are only available to BMW dealers.
